abOUT ME
Hi, I'm Alicia, and I know firsthand how exhausting those sleepless nights can be.
As a mum to two young girls here on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, my journey into sleep consulting was born from my own struggles and triumphs with baby sleep.
With my first daughter, every single nap meant bouncing her in a carrier for hours on end. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and desperate for help. Sleep school seemed like the answer, and while it did work – my daughter became an amazing sleeper – the cry-it-out method left me feeling uneasy. When her sleep patterns inevitably changed, I found myself without any tools or strategies to adapt. I had followed a rigid approach that didn't empower me to understand the 'why' behind sleep or give me flexible solutions.
When my second daughter arrived, I knew I wanted to do things differently. I was determined to find a gentler path – one that honored both my baby's needs and my own instincts as a mother. Through research, learning, and plenty of trial and error, I discovered that it's absolutely possible to teach good sleep habits without trauma. I learned gentle, responsive approaches that worked with my daughter's natural rhythms and temperament, building healthy sleep foundations that adapted as she grew.
This journey transformed not only our nights but also my understanding of infant and child sleep. Now, I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned with other exhausted parents who are looking for a kinder, more sustainable approach to sleep. Whether you're bouncing a baby for the hundredth time today or searching for answers that align with your parenting values, I'm here to support you with empathy, evidence-based strategies, and realistic solutions that actually work for your family.
You don't have to choose between sleep and connection – let me show you another way.
